It’s Tuesday, April 23rd and this is our free NBA prediction for Game 2 of the Mavericks vs. Clippers series. 

The game is in LA and tips-off at 10:00 PM Eastern.

So let’s break this one down…

LA crushed Dallas in Game 1, winning 109-97, but the final score does not properly portray the Clippers dominance.

At halftime the Clippers were up 26 points, holding the Mavericks to 22 points in the first quarter, and just 8 points in the second.  

It was the worst first half performance of the season for the Mavericks, but by the second half Dallas began to find their rhythm. 

Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving combined for 64 points, a great sign for the Mavs moving forward. 

In a rare showcase of Three-point shooting excellence, the Clippers shot 50% (18/36) from behind the arc, well above their season average (38.1%).

It was impressive shooting, but highly unlikely to continue, and with Kawhi Leonard still out the Mavericks have a good chance to even the series.
