This is a game between two Eastern Conference opponents who have been underperforming expectations this season. The Celtics and the Knicks are a combined 37 and 40 as of right now. They have both been mediocre sub .500 teams this season. The Celtics came into this season as an Eastern Conference contender. Behind Tatum and Brown, they were supposed to be up there with the league’s heavyweights. The Knicks were riding high into this season after finishing 41-31 last season and 4th in the East. They have sputtered this season though as they are 27th in points per game this season. Their defense is still phenomenal as they are sixth in the NBA in points per game but the offense cannot keep up. Of course, these two teams played two nights ago with the RJ Barrett hitting an insane buzzer-beater three to cap a 25 point comeback. I expect the Celtics to come into this game looking for some revenge. This is kind of a letdown game for the Knicks after that insane win. Boston will jump out to a lead and not blow it this time. I think Boston gets right here with Tatum and Brown playing well on the offensive end. Boston has been like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde this year and I think we will get the best version of him here.
