Heat face first big test
The Heat made quick work of the Atlanta Hawks in the first round as they beat them in five games. They now face a 76ers team that will not have Joel Embiid for at least the first two games. The Heat will now be able to key in on James Harden and Tyrese Maxey like they did on Trae Young in round one.
The 76ers received some horrible news as their star player Joel Embiid broke his orbital bone and has a concussion. Embiid will probably be second in MVP voting and is the leader of this team. It will be really hard to win a series without him. It looks like he may be back in game three of game four.
I don’t see the 76ers being very competitive in this game. Erik Spoelstra put on a masterclass in defending Trae Young and has now had time to gameplan for Maxey and Harden without Embiid.
