Golden State Suffers Back-to-Back Blowouts
The Golden State Warriors will hit the road to take on the Chicago Bulls. The Warriors dropped to 12th in the West after winning just 4 of their last 10, while the Bulls cracked the top-10 in the East with an impressive 3-game winning streak. Golden State is coming off back-to-back blowout losses, suffering a 15-point defeat to the Raptors, followed by a 36-point defeated at home against the Pelicans. Golden State is floundering, but the Bulls are picking up steam.
I’m going with Bulls in this one. Chicago is clearly on a hot-streak, while the Warriors are slowly collapsing. The golden days for Golden State seem to be well behind them. Steph Curry is carrying the team on his back, and is the only Warrior averaging more than 20 points per game. On the Bulls side, Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan, and Coby White are combining for 60.8 points per game. On the other side, Golden State gave up 121.8 points per game in their last 10. Without Draymond Green, the Warriors will continue to struggle defensively, and the Bulls will benefit.
So for our Warriors vs. Bulls expert pick, take the Chicago Bulls to Cover (-3.0) on Friday.
