East’s play-in teams face off in Atlanta
The Raptors and the Hawks are both squarely in the East’s play in tournament and it looks like both of these teams will end up there at the end of the season.
The Hawks are coming off of a tough loss to the Bulls in which DeMar DeRozan dropped 37 points and a game-winner. Trae Young struggled from the field, going 3-17 from the field and 0-5 from three. I think he gets back on track here.
The Raptors are coming off of a back-to-back against the Hornets. They then have to travel from Charlotte to Atlanta. I think this point guard matchup will decide this game. VanVleet and Young will go head-to-head here and I think Young will bounce back in this one.
The Hawks are desperate for a win and now sit at 28-31 and they need to make a run here if they want any chance to not play in the play-in tournament.
