The Memphis Grizzlies are the 2nd seed in the Western Conference. They had a great regular season with a record of 51-31. The Grizzlies on the road had a negative 16-25 record. Memphis is a young team with not much experience. Missing Ja Morant to a hand injury is going to cost them. 

The Los Angeles Lakers when healthy have to be the scariest 7th seed of all time. The Lakers have a 23-18 record at home. The Lakers are the first team ever to start 2-10 and make the playoffs. After the deadline, they are a completely different team. 

The Crypto Arena in a playoff atmosphere is going to be great. LeBron James is under a lot of pressure after Memphis Grizzlies players have talked negatively about him. The bear has not been poked, rather the grizzlies just poured honey all over themselves. The Lakers are hungry and are looking to take advantage of a Ja Morantless Grizzlies team. I really like the Lakers in this matchup.
