Since the trade Sabonis has been very effective for them averaging nearly 20 points a game but this team still doesn’t seem poised to even make the playoffs again. They haven’t made the playoffs in the last 16 seasons and unless something changes they won’t again this year. 

Nuggets Analysis 

The Nuggets are currently the six seed and enter this game on a three game winning streak heading into All-Star break. This season has been rather impressive for them considering the fact that it has mainly been a one-man show. It has been a Nikola Jokic show As he is having a career season averaging 26, 13.8, and 7.9 on 57% shooting from the field. One thing to look forward to as reports are coming out is that Two of their best players in Jamal Murray, and Michael Porter Jr. may return sometime in the month of March , When there was uncertainty that they would even return at all this season. The second main news coming out of this team is that They Extended Center, DeMarcus Cousins to a contract that will last the remainder of the season as opposed to the ten-day contract he has been playing on.
