Damian Lillard’s Return to Portland
The Milwaukee Bucks travel to Portland, Oregon on Wednesday to take on the Portland Trail Blazers. The Bucks are heavily favored in this one, with the spread in Milwaukee’s favor at 10.5 points. The Bucks are 11-7 as favorites on the road, while the Blazers are 7-10 as underdogs at home. Portland is coming off a 130-104 win over the Philadelphia 76ers, but the Sixers were without Joel Embiid or Tyrese Maxey. Regardless, it was a big win for a struggling Portland team, who is 14th in the West at 14-33. The Bucks are 2nd in the East at 32-15, 18 games up on the Blazers, which is why Milwaukee is so heavily favored.
I’m taking the Milwaukee Bucks to cover against the Trail Blazers. A big story in this matchup is Damian Lillard’s return to Portland. This is Lillard’s second meeting with his old team, but his first game back in Portland, where Lillard spent the first 11 years of his career. Dame is a Portland legend, but he’ll be looking to dominate his old team tomorrow. Not to mention Giannis Antetokounmpo, who’s averaging 31.0 points and 11.7 rebounds per game. The Blazers have no answer for Antetokounmpo, and with Giannis and Lillard together, Milwaukee has found a winning combination.
So for our Bucks vs. Trail Blazers expert pick, take the Milwaukee Bucks to Cover (-10.0) on Wednesday.
