Dame Time is Alive in Milwaukee

The Milwaukee Bucks are looking to extend their winning streak tomorrow night when they face the Cleveland Cavaliers. Milwaukee is 2nd in the East at 28-12, won 6 of their last 10, including 3 in-a-row thanks to Damian Lillard’s game winning shot against the Kings on Sunday. If you haven’t seen the shot, go look it up. Lillard has been a welcome addition in Milwaukee. The 33-year old veteran is averaging 25.2 points per game, and has been the perfect complement to Giannis Antetokounmpo, as the two All-Stars combine for 56.4 points per game.

I’m going with the Bucks in this one. The Cleveland Cavaliers will need to stop Milwaukee’s dynamic duo in order to keep their winning streak alive, but that’s much easier said than done. The Cavs are 23-15 overall, putting them 4-games behind the Bucks. Cleveland is closing that gap, winning 7 of their last 10, as well as 5-straight, but Milwaukee is the better team. The Cavs are hot right now, but during their 5-game winning streak Cleveland never played an opponent above .500. Now the Cavs face the 3rd-best team in the NBA. Cleveland is 1-4 as underdogs at home, while Milwaukee is 9-7 as favorites on the road. The Bucks beat the Cavs in Cleveland 119-111 earlier this season, and tomorrow night Milwukee will do it again.
