Dallas In Trouble

The Dallas Mavericks got worse after trading for superstar Kyrie Irving to pair alongside franchise player Luka Doncic. Kyrie is the best player Luka has ever played with and they simply can’t put it together. The Mavericks have won 3 of their last 10 games and completely slid in seeding. Dallas is currently out of the play in tournament as the 11th seed in the Western Conference with a record of 37-40. 

The Hawks are the 8th seed in the Eastern Conference with a similar record as the Mavericks sitting at 38-39. The Hawks have won 4 of their last 10 games. Hawks have a 22-16 record at home. 

Both the Hawks and Mavericks are currently in a slump. However, Dallas just looks terrible. The gamble of Kyrie Irving has not paid off and they may lose him in free agency making the 2 month rental a total disaster. Dallas is struggling on defense after trading away key parts of their team to Brooklyn. The Mavericks have struggled in away games this year with a record of 15-24. I really like the Atlanta Hawks for this matchup.
