Now this may be the most highly anticipated game in a good while. The Nets and 76ers match up in Philadelphia after the massive deadline trade that sent Harden to Philly and Ben Simmons to Brooklyn. Although Ben Simmons will not play in this game it does matter.
The 76ers are yet to lose a game with Harden and Embiid in the lineup. They are a perfect 5-0 with two wins over the Knicks, and a win over the Bulls, Cavaliers, and Timberwolves.
The Nets are coming off of a much-needed win over the Hornets in which Kyrie Irving dropped 50 points on 19 shots. It was one of the most efficient games in NBA history. I don’t know which Nets team I am getting, it could be the one we saw against the Hornets or the one that was 1-5 after the All-Star break.
That is why I am going to take the Nets in this game. I am also going to take the over. There is just too much star power in this game. The Nets have two of the greatest scorers in NBA history while the 76ers have the leading MVP candidate and one of the greatest offensive players in NBA history.
