Well, what’s happening is is the NFL season obviously is coming unbelievably for our own eyes to an end very soon. Three games left only for this year. And now it’s all about basketball. So we’re ready. I got some nice plays lined up. And let’s hope we can get some wins to the audience. What do you think Drake?

I mean, yeah, NFL was crazy over the weekend. I think all four games ended on the last last left. You know, we got to start getting into some more basketball here for you guys.

How many ambulances you think what was the over and um, on the run ambulances in the cities with those games were played on those teams that went out to service people. When I ease this week, I bet you was higher than ever to TVs thrown out windows or shattered I mean

yeah, shame buffalo. Crazy. I call

I’ve always said though, you know, there are two types of people who bet on sports. There are people who play to play. And of course, they’re going to play all the big games, the TV games, all the big playoff games but goes to show you oddsmakers are pretty sharp with these games that came down the field goals literally the last seconds when you cheat anybody to chase those games this weekend must be in a straitjacket by no I I’ve been speaking to people that they’re in semi comas. But But what we’re I’m trying to go at all this I’m you know, from my experience and I I’ve been on both sides of this, of this arena. You want to look for games where you got weak numbers, where oddsmakers can’t really get a good number, you’re going to go up against them after them looking at football for four months, four and a half months. The numbers are tough. And we’re going to see this Friday, you know, we’re going to be on we’re going to have the NFL podcast where we try our best to put out a good winner here.

But I think basketball no doubt is where it’s at. So what we’re going to be doing on this show, we’re going to be looking at three games for Wednesday, an NBA game to college games, alright, and if you’re new the format is we put out the winners on these games, then each host is going to put out the best bet and it could be any game for Wednesday and then we’re gonna throw out some props for Wednesday as well. That’s PAC Ks, and check them out. All right, we’re going to get to these games in a second but you know, let’s talk about what’s happening just before we came on board. Sean Payton quit the saints. I mean, you know, I don’t know if he’s looking to go somewhere else. He’s 5858 years old still young man is so in good order from the big you know, $50,000,000.05 year contract what what what’s your thoughts guys?

I think Dre is hoping that Mike Steven Ross is having dinner with Sean Payton right now if Jays probably hoping that’s the case that they’re out somewhere maybe even at Shula Steakhouse in Miami legs into naming on Peyton and getting them down here to the Miami Dolphins. I don’t know. No.

Ross. Ross goes for new talent. He generally doesn’t.

I like I want Brian Davis, the guy, the guy that grew Josh Allen into what he’s become. That’s who I want, though. See for the bills. But um, I do think that that he says he retired but I think the only reason or the only team he’ll come out of retirement for is if Jerry Jones offers him a job, which I’m seeing on Twitter that Jerry Jones would fire Mike McCarthy only If Sean Payton comes to coach so that would be interesting.

The coaching carousel man, it’s crazy.

copra is still several this still several teams without a coach. So they got it. They got to fill those spots real quickly before the draft gets rolling and everything. So it’s gonna be interesting to see on that note that there’s grumblings rumblings that Tom Brady might be done.

the little sad news to be honest with you from an old guy there, that man’s 45 He’s done it all. I think, you know, there’s a saying Happy wife happy life.

I think he might be getting some pressure from Giselle, and saying, Hey, let’s you know, that room has been going on for a long time already. So true, but you know, he demands 45 He did. He’s not winning a Super Bowl this year. Does he go back and try to do it again? Uh, my feeling he’s done?

Yeah, but you’re talking about a man 45 Think about a tough plan, guys. 25

No doubt. The guy’s a machine. But it’ll be interesting to see people on the offense in the deep, you know, on the offense, and they lost a lot of players on the offensive line. I mean, you know, it took it hurt them, it caught up with them, you know, obviously against the team, like the Rams, who just kept coming at them coming out and coming at them. You know, it just wore them down. But if he had a healthy team, I mean, you know, who’s to say, I mean, they did lose a lot of key pieces to their puzzle throughout the year. And they still want what 12 games? I mean,

yeah, but God knowing Tom Brady, I just think that he like, let’s say he won a Super Bowl, he’s always coming back, he would never ride off into the sunset after Super Bowl. I think the only way his career ended, is if he, he loses, and he would be done. He’s too much of a competitor to not defend a championship. So I think this is kind of his perfect time.

Well, I’d be I want to see what my own two eyes but I would have to, you know, think that it’s not going to happen until it actually happens. All these talk could go on for the next 3456 weeks. But until that day comes to you actually see it happen. It’s going to be very surprising to see him step down. Because I know he definitely still got it in him to want to play just to quit, you know, he’s, you know, he’s coming up with the family and all that other stuff. That’s I get all that. But for him to really put it down. I mean, he it’s gonna be quite surprising to see that for me.

He just do the for the most passing yards in his career. And he’s 45 Exactly. Amazing. Got the guys.

Listen, he’s got nothing. He doesn’t owe anyone anything. The guy the guy did it off the 22 years. I mean, think about it, he could he could go off to the sunset and everyone’s you know, it is what it is that guy did. He left his heart and soul out there every every week?

Well, it’s gonna be interesting to see what happens with these coaching positions. And if Brady gives another year we’ll have to see one other thing is a lot of talk about what happened with this KC game with overtime rolls. Now we’re certainly not going to be able to do anything about that here. But I just want to hear your thoughts. I mean, what what do you think I mean, they go down, they score a touchdown. Didn’t really give you know, the bills a shot to come back.

What what do you think dry? You think they should seriously look, look at this?

Well, I’ve been calling for a change since the Patriots beat the Chiefs a couple years back and the Chiefs actually proposed a rule change and because they never got the ball in overtime, and I know people say they’re like oh, well the defense has to make a slop, but both quarterbacks should have should have a chance Josh Allen played the most part. Perfect game that I may have ever seen by a quarterback and he still lost because he didn’t get to touch the ball, the game can’t be decided by a coin flip that coin could have would have gone the other way, I 100% believe the bills would have won.

So I just think there has to be a rule change, I think it has to be kind of like college at least, where both teams gets touched the ball at least once. I know some people were saying maybe the team that scores a touchdown first has to go for two. And then the now would end it. But I just think both quarterbacks, especially with how they played, that was one of the best games I’ve ever seen, have to touch them while they’re in overtime.

Without a doubt, Scott, what do you think? I mean, is this something you think the NFL is seriously going to look at? Or just gonna say Tough luck?

No, they’re not gonna I don’t see them making a change to it. Because, you know, he hit the nail on the head when he first said, your defense doesn’t show up. If your defense shows up, and you give yourself a chance, you stop them, you get the ball, if you don’t stop them. You know, that’s the bottom line. Game over. So I don’t you know, I hate it myself personally, but I don’t know, I don’t I don’t see how the NFL is going to change the philosophy of that overtime rule. But you never know.

I like the idea of going for two. And if you don’t get the tube and the other team gets the ball, and then they could get on there. And if they get the score, and then they get the two they win. I like that. I don’t think that’ll ever happen. But hey, you know what, I think a lot of things would happen in my lifetime that happened. So you never know what with the rulings, but I would say they’re not going to change the rule.

Not the bills last for a while. 13 seconds, the bills lost that game themselves. We’re still I’m still aggravated.

Yeah, I, I tend to agree. But I guess we’ll have to wait and see for sure, we’ll come down to that even have this conversation about the overtime rule. Because if they would have played the regular during the regular time, if they would, instead of kicking the ball deep, they could have kicked the ball shorter, made the guy fair catch it, or even start running around that would have taken four or five seconds off the clock. It would have been like, let’s say eight, nine seconds left. Yeah, they still had three timeouts. But they’d be down in their territory deep, they’d have one play really to get it to midfield, and then a Hail Mary, it wouldn’t have been a field goal, you know, unless he threw a bomb, which I don’t think, you know, they would have defended let him you know, throw 5040 yard pass.

You know, at that point in time, you know, they they ran the ball the first time they gained like 15 yards, then he threw a quick pass and gained another, you know, whatever, 20 yards, and they put themselves in position. But I don’t I don’t understand the logic of not kicking the ball short, kicking into like the 10 yard line, the guy’s either going to fit catch it, or he’s going to start running to try to get field position and it’s going to eat up some clock probably would have nailed down because they wanted all the time they could have with the three timeouts. But they would have probably been back on the 15 yard line or 10 yard line.

Starting that drive, they would have had to go 50 yards, 60 yards, you know, in 13 seconds, which is not, you know, What’s the odds of that happening once out of 100?

Well, no doubt some of the best games I’ve seen in a while this weekend. I don’t know you’re talking about quality quality games. And let’s hope we get some this weekend on it feels very happy with those ratings. They’re putting out an excellent product. Alright, let’s move over the basketball. This is going to be an interesting matchup the line just came out on this and lines might vary guys, we just want everyone to know. But we try to put out a number. An early number at least the Bucs minus two playing the Cavs in Cleveland. I’m going to start with you, Dre. What do you think of this one?

Yeah, so for me, I would take the Bucs here. Um You guys know we’ve talked about the Bucs a lot over the last couple of weeks, especially with that game against Memphis where they won but the Bucs are They’re just a great team right now they’re playing good basketball. I know that the Cavs you know they’re just cover machine they I think the number one and covers in NBA this season in terms of their percentage of covering but I think the Bucs know that the calves. If you look at the standings right now, the buck are half a game ahead of the Cavs for the eSports scene and I think that the Bucs know this and they’re trying to put some separation they’ve won three in a row.

I know the Cavs are kind of hot right now they want eight of their last 10 But I think that the Bucs know this and this is a big game for them. And they don’t want the Cavs to pass them up here. And especially with how close as has been the season series couldn’t matter in tiebreakers. So I’m going to take the bucks here minus two.

All right bucks on the road minus tow that line might change. Scott, what do you see on this one?

I think that number is going to change I really do. I think somehow someway, that game is going to open. Cleveland is going to end up being a small favorite in this game. I think the Cleveland is going to be a 111 and a half point favorite for some reason. If they’re not more power to me, then I’m going to get a better price. I like Cleveland. I really do. I think they’re playing extremely well. They’re probably one of the surprise teams this year in the NBA. Even the old man Kevin Love. When he gets hot. He’s not throwing three pointers up there.

Like the other night against the Knicks he hit three threes in a row scored nine unanswered points and a matter of seconds, gives them a spark with these young guys around him. So if he can hit from the outside, it opens up the inside.

Yeah, the Bucs are good. But they’re not a great road team this year. I mean, they when they get the job done, you know they got a somewhat of a winning record. I think they like 1311 on the road. But the Cavs have been strong at home, they are playing well in certain situations. And I think they’re going to be jacked up for this game, particularly more so than the Bucs would be.

I don’t even look at playoff positioning right now. Because we’re only like 40 some odd games into an 82 game season. So I’m not gonna like sit here and like Oh, who’s who’s moving up the charts and who’s not because so much shuffling is going to go on in the next, you know, 20 games from now all the way to the end of the year. It’s just too early to worry about that. You know, obviously you want to win as many games as you can to get you know, seedings. But this particular matchup tonight, I think Cleveland at home, it’s a perfect spot for them.

If they’re alive, glogg, especially, I think that’s going to, that’s going to be great for them. And if the line is what it is, I would grab the points I take Cleveland up to about two and a half to three points. If you can buy it, I actually go to three. If the line comes up Milwaukee two, I buy the full point. Again, I’m a numbers guy I look for value. If I can grab value. It’s like buying stocks to me if I can buy a stock, you know, Buck lower than the rest of the group.

I’m going to do it. You know, I’m not going to wait around and be the last man on the totem pole. Getting the worst of it. So I’m gonna grab the line. I’m going to take Cleveland at home. I think they match perfectly. I think they got enough weapons to stay in this game. The Bucs tend to play shitty, excuse my French on the road. But I like this game. I like Cleveland at home as a live doc.

i We got two different opinions here. That’s what this show is all about. college basketball. I mean, you know, I’ve been saying this for a while. And I do follow a lot of sharp guys out in the business. And where there is a lot of value is in college hoops. You got a tremendous board tomorrow big board on Thursday.

Two games that we’re looking at. We’re going to start with the first one.

Oklahoma State okie state minus two and a half over Iowa State that’s ranked 24th in the nation. Dre what what’s your take on this one? All right, back to the system. Home Home dog, you know, playing ranked team on this. I know this. I will state team is ranked 23rd. But they’ve lost five of their last seven games. They’re coming out of a 15 point last at TCU in which they were at Penn. So I’m gonna take Oklahoma State here. Plus two and a half and I may even sprinkle the money line. I just think the Cyclones are a bit overrated here.

I thought I thought Oklahoma State is the favorite in this game.

Oklahoma State. Let me check I’ve shown up two and a half days.

That’s when I bet I’m still gonna take a minus two and a half. That’s on me. Um, yeah, but I’m still gonna I mean they’ve lost five of the last seven they’re ranked 23rd People are gonna see they’re ranked but um, they’ve they’re not going to be ranked in the next bowl. So I’m gonna take my mistake so you’re like okey state minus the two and a half Scott. What do you what’s your take on this one?

You know this this college conference the big 12 to me is like a big headache. I think I need like two bottles of Tylenol shitting on both sides of me when I bet on games in this conference because it’s like from one neck game to the next these teams like blow your mind. This this is not a great matchup by any stretch. You know these Oklahoma State usually has a better program.

They do right now they attend an eight. I mean, yeah, they’re at home, they are a small favorite. Like Dre said I was stayed hasn’t been playing their best basketball, they probably have the better the program at this point in time, you know, not that because their records better, but they probably played a better scheduling of games. And you know, when when you look at a game like this man, this is like a headache to make. As I said, these these type of games, I don’t see anything like, really, they I don’t even see the value, I look for usually a number that stands out and I say, Man, this looks really good. You know, let’s take advantage of it. But in this case, I really don’t see any real value on a matchup like this.

But I think the dog the favorite, believe it or not, is eight and one in the last nine in this series. So there is a little leniency towards the favorite be an eight and one in the last night. So I’m going to believe that the home team in this game, the two and a half, I would moneyline this game and I would just bring this game down to an moneyline play on Oklahoma State. I wouldn’t even get involved with a point spread I just make it whoever wins wins because that’s how I look at a game like this and I would make Oklahoma state money line play and I jump on them at home just for the simple fact that I think the home advantage in a matchup like this to adult teams not really playing their best basketball at all.

But I think the home cooking you get the crowd you get you know you get a little jacked up Oklahoma State is definitely not playing to their potential that they should be. Iowa State has been playing you know so so I think that Oklahoma State could take advantage of that. So So situation favorites, eight and one in the last nine. Let’s continue that path with that pattern and take Oklahoma state money line the play in this game.

All right, very, very good. Setting another game here. interesting matchup Mark cat at Seton Hall Seton Hall the other night was a if I’m not mistaken in eight point favorite to St. John’s. And St. John’s beat them. So they crushed him, man. A lot of people was all over all over Seton Hall. A watch. I mean, do they come back Dre on this one that they lay in four and a half over my cat? You see them coming back? What do you think? Yeah,

I’m seeing line anywhere from two and a half to four not but I’m actually going to go against the system here and I’m going to take mark at Mark has won six straight they’re looking for the Seventh Street is a first time all season that they’ve been ranked. They’re playing really well. They this winter he started with a massive win over a ranked Providence team.

So I think Marquette is gonna win this game on the road. And I do think and they’ve their last two games they’ve won against ranked team so it’s not like they’re playing you know, bad competition. This market team is playing really well right now. Again, so Seton Hall team that you mentioned, just got crushed by St. John. So I think I think Mark is gonna win this game. All right.

Well, a lot of people might jump on Seton Hall thinking that they’re gonna bounce back but you bring it up some good points here. Scott, what do you think it does it look like a gift? Or do you go the other way?

You don’t want to call this game Dr. Jekyll Mr. Hyde. One team playing really well. The other team finding ways to lose games recently, Seton Hall started out like a house of fire when a nine out of their first 10 games. I think now they like three and five and their last eight games is Marquette. Marquette is like you said they are playing phenomenal basketball right now.

Since the new year started in January. They played seven games, they won six out of seven they’ve won six in a row. But I just want this some numbers on this game guys that really blow my mind. The underdog has been on believable. It’s like 20 and six, the last 26.

And the road team is even stronger. I think I got a number here. Just the road team is 23 eight and one. The road team in this series is 23 eight and one against the spread going into this game. The road team in my opinion, is the stronger these two teams right now mentally and physically. The line I don’t think this line is no way going to be four and a half of five points tomorrow and let you know again, it’s gonna drop. It could be a gift if it is guys be beat back up the truck, because I think you got an opportunity to make yourself a nice school. I think the road team is right.

They cracked the top 25 For the first time this year that ranked 22nd in the country. They’re the stronger team. Like you said they just got blown out. Yeah, they want to come back and look much better than the performance against St. John’s, but they’re running into a hornet’s nest coming in now against the team that’s playing extremely well. That’s been beating really good teams. In In case of Marquette, so I think that this game is probably going to drop as far as the points go, it may not.

But I would get this line. If it’s if it isn’t four and a half, I probably just leave it there or go to five and jump on Marquette. If it goes down to three and a half, I’d probably go up to four and a half or five on this game, I would just make Marquette as many points as you can get, because I just feel it’s a gift. And I think Marquette will stay in this game, even if they lose the game. I think they’re going to get out battling until the very end. But I like Marquette in this game because they just have things rolling right now in their direction where Seton Hall is going through one of those times where they’re trying to figure some things out. So take the live dog and jump on Marquette guys.

All right, we both agree with the dog care. Interesting. All right, we’re at a point in the show where we’re gonna put out our best bets. It could be any game for Wednesday, it could be any sport. We’re gonna start with you, Dre. Who if you had to put out one game tomorrow on Wednesday, rather, who’s your best bet.

So my best bet is actually going to be my prop. So it’s gonna be Yanis is over in points again, we’re gonna go back to the wall. Again. It’s hitting every time. I don’t know why the books are not adjusting for it. But he’s playing amazing right now he’s pushing for an MVP to me right now. Tim and Nicola yoga are the only two candidates, in my opinion, is Steph Curry, is it a recent slump. So I just think that Yanis is playing out of his mind right now.

In January, he scored at least 30 points in eight of 10 games. And the line continues to stay at 29 and a half 30 and a half. So I just think he honest, we mean, Scott talked about it in previous podcasts, how He always plays in big games. He plays well, in big games. Against Memphis, he hit this prop against the bulls a couple of nights ago, we hit this problem. So I’m going to take the yagnas over here as my best bet and my prop of the day.

And a shout out to you, Dre of the Josh Allen rushing you hit down on that with that I actually had a little a little a little money on that and put it that way. So that worked out real nice. That looked like a ridiculous number. But yeah, yeah, these props so you can catch some real good ones. But I just wanted to give you a shout out on that one as well. Scott, what’s your best bet for Wednesday night?

I think what I just said, guys, I think you got a market team right now that is just zoned right in playing against the team right now. That’s fine that trying to find figure it out a little bit. And again, if there’s numbers, right, I hope it’s right. We’re showing this game at four and a half at the spots we’re looking at. At this point in time. I think Marquette is a live dog. I wouldn’t be surprised if they go in there and battle all the way to the end and keep the game close. So you have a shot to win it outright.

So I would jump on this market team. I’m going to ride a hot team. I’ve been using this team lately. I had him the other day. When they won on Sunday, there were two point on the dog at home and they won the game outright by I think a dozen or whatever amount of points. It was 1211 or 12 points they won outright.

And I’ve been using them recently for my private service clients. And I’ve been hitting hitting strong on them I you know I like to I like to zone in one thing about me. I’m doing this so long.

I like to find teams that make sense. I don’t want to bet on bad teams like that going bad and stuff hoping they turn it around a lot of guys chase after. Like teams while they do to win do to win what they could lose 578 games in a row.

You’re down 1000s of dollars. Now what are you doing right now? Just get the plane. So that do stuff to me is absolutely nonsense, but a hot team that’s playing well, that’s committed to doing tremendous in their conference against the same opponents. I like that especially when they get in points and a team just go crush the other night by you know, St John’s they lost by over I think they lost like 30 in that game. Yeah, they’re gonna want to come back. Obviously, they’re gonna want to show up for this one, but they’re playing a hot team that it’s gonna show up. And I like the value of getting a plus four and a half to five points. Best Bet on this show. Marquette

All right. We’re gonna see how this works out. We’re going to be back on Friday and Friday is going to be a great show because Friday is going to have the the NFL conference games I’ve been asleep for Sunday.
