Ok, let’s get to our L.A. Clippers vs Memphis Grizzlies predictions.

The L.A. Clippers travel to take on the Grizzlies tonight. The Grizzlies continue to prove they are a top team in the league despite being “slept on” as a team as Ja Morant likes to say. At 37-18 they have the third best record in the NBA and are 4 and 6 games behind the Warriors and Suns for the top 2 spots in the West. They are the healthiest they’ve been in a while, and only are without Dillon Brooks, who is a key contributor but they’ve expected to be without him for some time now. The Grizzlies are tied for 3rd in most points per game scored, and Ja Morant is firmly in the conversation for MVP. Memphis is a great team especially at home, where they are winning 67.9% of their games at home. On the other hand, the Clippers are not the best road team. They only are winning 42% of their road games, and are 5-5 in their last 10 games. Despite this, I want to bring attention to the job that Tyron Loue has done with this team. They haven’t had Paul George for more than half the season, or Kawhi Leonard for the entire season and this team is still the 8th seed only 2 games back from 7th. They have been operating the whole season with their best players being Reggie Jackson and Marcus Morris. That truly is impressive. Despite losing Kawhi and PG, the Clippers are showing that they are still trying to win, if not this year then next. They showed this by going out and acquiring Norman Powell and Robert Covington from the Trail Blazers. These two players are quality players, specifically Norman Powell who is averaging 19 ppg this year and dropped 28 in his debut with the team. Now with more reinforcements, look for this team to climb up the standings in the West.
