Clippers in Another Western Conference Clash

The LA Clippers will host the Denver Nuggets in a highly anticipated Western Conference clash. The Nuggets are 3rd in the West with a 14-7 record, while the Clippers are 9th at 9-10. Denver is 2-0 against the Clippers this season, beating them 113-104 in LA in their most recent matchup. The Nuggets are averaging 112.0 points against the Clips, while LA has 106.0 points per game against Denver. The Nuggets should be favored, but since the game’s not in Denver, the Clippers have a chance to take this one.

So far, the Nuggets are undefeated at home (9-0), but on the road Denver is 5-7. The Clippers are 6-3 on their home court, and after a much needed win against the Warriors on Saturday, the Clips finally have some momentum, as LA’s superstar roster is starting to gel. Paul George, Kawhi Leonard, and James Harden are combining for 61.0 points and 14.1 assists per game, while the energetic Russell Westbrook has found a new role as the leader of the second unit. The Nuggets are a top-shelf team, but starting point guard Jamal Murray is questionable to play. On the road, Denver is 3-6 without Murray, and the Nuggets will struggle without him against the veteran savvy Clippers.
