Celtics visit Knicks in opener

The Celtics are coming off of a disappointing season by their standards. They lost in game seven of the Eastern Conference Finals to the Miami Heat after losing the Finals the year before. The Celtics have tried to upgrade their squad this offseason trading for Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holiday. 

The Knicks had an encouraging season last year. After grabbing Jalen Brunson in free agency where many said it was an overpay he led them to the five seed and a first round win. They lost the Eastern Conference champs in six games but there is a lot to build on. 

I like the Knicks in this one. I think there is going to be some getting used to for this Celtics squad. They traded away Marcus Smart and he was their glue to their team. They are now going to have four people who are going to try and put up some points. I think the Knicks can win this game outright behind Brunson and if not they cover.
