Force Game 7
After a couple large Margin victories by both teams in Games 1 and 2 in this series, every game since then has been extremely competitive and come down to the wire. Game 5 was no exception to that, and featured yet another Giannis masterpiece to the tune of 40 points. Giannis single handedly kept his team in the game in the first half, and thanks to great 4th quarter play from his star running mate, Jrue Holiday, they were able to overcome a 14 point deficit in the fourth to steal a victory in Boston.
With that being said, the Celtics are going to win this game. They’ve already shown that they can win in Milwaukee with their game 4 win, and if not for some poor decisions by Marcus Smart to end game 5, they likely would’ve won this game as well and been up 3-2 themselves. No team has won two games in a row in this series and expect that to continue tonight. The Celtics strategy for winning has seemed to be to allow Giannis to get his, as he can’t be stopped, but prevent everyone else. Jrue Holiday was the reason the Bucks won game 5 in the fourth quarter, but before hitting two clutch shots, he had been 7-22 in the game. Expect another game where Giannis excels but has no help.
