Cavs Warming Up

The Cleveland Cavaliers are the 4th seed in the Eastern Conference. Their record in the regular season was 51-31. Cleveland is a solid team on the road almost splitting the record during the season. They finished 20-21 on the road. Donovan Mitchell leads the team with 31.8 points and  7.5 assists per game against New York. Mitchell is shooting 50.6% from the field and 46.8% from the 3. 

The New York Knicks are the 5th seed in the Eastern Conference. Their record in the regular season was 47-35. The Knicks finished the season at home with a record of 23-18. The Knicks are currently struggling in finding a role with SG R.J Barrett. Josh Hart seems to have taken his minutes, even while hurt. 

It took the Cleveland Cavaliers a while to get started. They lost the first game of the series, but then bounced back and blew the Knicks out in game two. The Knicks were destroyed in the second game as it seemed that the Cavs caught on fire and were playing extremely well together. The Cavaliers, when playing well, are the better team in this series. For these reasons I really like the Cavs in this matchup.
