The Cavs host the Magic in a game that the Cavs desperately need to win in order to stay out of the Play-In.
The Cavaliers have now lost three straight games. After losing to the Lakers they lost to the Raptors and the Bulls. Those are the two teams they needed to separate themselves from in order to stay out of the play-in tournament. They have now dropped to 41-33 and are officially the 7 seed. They are one game behind the Raptors and two games behind the Bulls. They are tied for second in the NBA when it comes to longest active losing streaks.
The Magic is the worst team in the East and is coming off one of their most brutal losses of the season. They blew a lead to the Kings in regulation and in overtime. They were up 2 with 15 seconds left and somehow allowed a layup and then let Davion Mitchell steal the ball and send the game to overtime.
I think the Cavs are playing for too much right now to lose this game. I think this is a blow out the Cavs need wins and the Magic is one of the worst teams in the league.
