Bucks Host Knicks in Group Stage Action

The first ever NBA In-Season Tournament tips-off tomorrow with a slate of group stage matchups. In East Group B, we have the Milwaukee Bucks taking on the New York Knicks. Milwaukee gets home court advantage and enters the contest as 6 point favorites. The Knicks went 0-3 against the Bucks last season but will look to defy the odds in their first ever In-Season Tournament matchup. 

Both the Bucks and Knicks lost their most recent matchups and will look to get back on track with a win in the In-Season Tournament. Milwaukee is coming off a 19-point loss to Toronto, while New York is coming off a 6-point loss to Cleveland. The Bucks don’t have anyone listed on their injury report, while RJ Barrett is listed as “day-to-day” for the Knicks. Barret is leading New York with 21.0 points per game, and they’ll need him healthy if they’re going to beat the Bucks. 

In their first ever In-Season Tournament matchup, I’m going with the Milwaukee Bucks to cover the spread against the Knicks. The Bucks are averaging 115.3 points per game, while the Knicks are only averaging 103.0. That’s a 12.3 point difference in Milwaukee’s favor, not to mention the Bucks have home court advantage.
