NBA In-Season Tournament Semi-final: Indiana Pacers (11-8) vs. Milwaukee Bucks (15-6)

This is the Thursday, December 7th NBA report for the Pacers vs. Bucks prediction.

Bucks Face Pacers in Semi-final

Bucksdiana Pacers. The game is a single elimination knockout style tournament, meaning the winner of tomorrow’s game will automatically move on to the Final. Milwaukee’s overall record is 15-6, but in the tournament they are 5-0. The Bucks average 129.6 points per game, shooting 52.9% from the field, and 46.3% from Three. The Pacers are also 5-0 in the tournament, averaging 133.6 points per game, and shooting 51.5% from the field and 44.5% from Three.

Milwaukee is favored by 4.5 points, but the Pacers won’t go down easily. We’re expecting a high scoring, fast paced Semi-final, but in the end, the Milwaukee Bucks will win. In their first meeting with Indiana, Milwaukee lost 124-126. Giannis Antetokounmpo had an incredible game, recording 54 points, 13 rebounds, and 3 assists, but didn’t get much support from his teammates. On the Pacers side, Bennedict Mathurin, Myles Turner, and Tyrese Haliburton combined for 76 points, and Indiana won by 2. 

But in this Semi-final, Milwaukee will get their revenge. Damian Lillard was not there when the Bucks first faced Indiana, but he’s back now. The Pacers are giving up 125.2 points per game, and Indiana had no answer for Giannis. With both Lillard and Antetokounmpo, the Bucks are 14-4, and against Indiana’s generous defense, Milwaukee will punch their ticket to the In-Season Tournament Final.
