This is the third meeting between these two Eastern Conference rivals and the Celtics won both of the previous games by double digits, the last one coming back on Feb. 11 when as a 2 and a half point favorite Boston cruised to a 120-106 victory.
Now, the reason why this spread has jumped almost six points is because Toronto is struggling through some COVID-19 issues and barely had enough players to get back on the floor last night, after their game at Chicago on Sunday was postponed. Against Detroit last night, the Raptors were seriously short-handed with three starters ruled out, along with two key reserves, and Head Coach Nick Nurse, who entered the protocols last week along with five other members of his staff.
