Hey guys it’s tommy d with your daily game breakdown and nba playoffs free predictions and picks.
Split night on our game predictions last night. We swept the board on the sixers and wizards, hitting the full game under, sixers spread, and my favorite play, the wizards team total under!
We didn’t hit on the grizzlies and jazz free play which was the under. And the jazz money line with the under was our parlay pick but overall, if you played everything on both games, it was a winning day!! And remember, my plays are free! All you have to do is watch my videos everyday!
Tonight’s game I’ll be breaking down is Brooklyn and Boston playing in the td garden at 830 pm eastern time.
The current celtics vs nets odds have Brooklyn as a road favorite of 7.5 points and the game total at 228.
The nets are up 2-0 in the series and have made the Celtics look like they don’t even belong in the playoffs. Obviously Jaylen brown is Out for the season and that is too crushing Of a blow for the Celtics to overcome.
Other than brown, the Celtics vs nets injury report has 2 other things to note. Jeff green is out with a foot injury. He’s been an important bench staple for the nets this season so that hurts. More importantly, Kemba walker is listed as questionable for the Celtics with a knee injury….I totally expect him to play. If he doesn’t, the Celtics have completely given up on this series and their 2021 season.
Game Prediction, Analysis and Breakdown
In the first two games, the nets out rebounded the Celtics and had less turnovers giving them a higher efficiency rating. Game 1, they didn’t shoot well, only 23% from three, and still won by 11. The second, they completely ran away with the game in the first half never giving the Celtics a chance. They shot 53% from the floor and were almost perfect at the foul line as well. And either The Celtics offense isn’t on point or the nets are playing defense all of the sudden, because Boston is averaging 99 points so far in the series.
The nets are hot right now winning and covering 7 of the last 7 but at the garden they are 2-8 straight up in their last 10 games. The big difference is in the 8 losses dating back a couple seasons ago, the nets big 3 didnt all playing together.
This is basically or die for Boston on Friday night. I think they play tough especially in the first half.
They give up a lot of late game leads so I’m assuming they let the nets in the game during the second half. I like the under 228 in this game. The nets road games have gone under in 4 of the last 5. The total has also gone under in 4 of the last 5 Celtics games although this season their home games have gone over more often.
I don’t think the Celtics win this game. They are only 1-7 in the last 2 weeks against eastern conference opponents. They just don’t have the same energy without brown. They know they can’t compete. I’m not sure the nets will cover that big of a spread on the road so staying away from that.
