Boston Celtics on a Hot Streak
The Boston Celtics will travel west to take on the Golden State Warriors tomorrow night. Boston is the best team in the NBA with a record of 20-5, while the Warriors are struggling to stay relevant at 12-14. The Celtics won 8 of their last 10 and enter this matchup on the back of a 5-game winning streak. The Warriors on the other hand went 5-5 in their last 10, knocking them out of the top-10 in the West.
I’m going with the Boston Celtics in this one. Jayson Tatum (27.3 ppg) is having another stellar season, and is supported by: Jaylen Brown (22.3 ppg), Kristaps Porzingis (18.9 ppg), Derrick White (15.3 ppg), and Jrue Holiday (12.3 ppg), all of whom are averaging double-digit scoring figures. On the other side, Steph Curry is the only Warrior averaging 20+ points per game. Klay Thompson is struggling from the 3-point line, and with Draymond Green out indefinitely, Golden State is suffering on the defensive side of the ball. The Celtics are incredibly well-rounded, and they’ll extend their winning streak tomorrow night.
