I’m going with the Denver Nuggets to beat the Suns with ease on Tuesday. Phoenix will be without Devin Booker, who is arguably the Suns best player, averaging 27.8 points and 6.8 assists per game. Phoenix is 4-7 without Booker on the floor, while the Nuggets are nearly at full strength. But Denver’s biggest advantage has always been their ability to win at home, winning 9 of their last 10 games in Ball Arena, while outsourcing their opponents with a +9.6 points differential. Phoenix’s Kevin Durant is highly likely to lead the Suns in scoring, making for a decent prop bet, but the 35-year old Durant can’t do it on his own, especially against the reigning NBA champions.
Denver is led by Nikola Jokic, a generational talent that uses his size, strength, and smarts to out play every team in the NBA. Jokic is almost averaging a triple-double per game, and in their last meeting with the Suns, the 2x MVP recorded an unprecedented 16 assists. The Joker is looking better than ever, and with a cast of incredible supporting players, the Denver Nuggets will extend their winning streak against the underwhelming Phoenix Suns.
