The Hawks are coming off of a huge win over the Clippers. The Hawks know they need to start and get hot enough to get out of the Play-In Tournament. Trae Young is having an insane season which has given the Hawks the second-ranked offense in the entire NBA, only behind the Utah Jazz. The problem is that the Hawks rank 27th in the NBA in defensive efficiency.
I think this game will go over. I know the Blazers are short-handed but they are playing one of the worst defenses in the league. The Hawks allow the 22nd most points in the league per game. The Blazers are even worse as they rank 27th.
I think the Hawks and the Blazers will both get out and run in this one which will lead to a lot of points being put on the board. There is no way this Blazers team will contain the Hawks here and I’m relying on the Hawks’ horrible defense to allow the Blazers to score.
