is happening is I’m missing the NBA. Can you believe it? They it’s kind of bored, right? You know, kind of bored right now guys, you gotta be honest with you. I’m looking forward to seeing the pieces of the puzzle of the second half of the NBA the final 20 to 23 games. But we got some nice college basketball that we are going to be talking about on this show. So let’s get into it and pick some winners because I just sucked on the last show, guys. I apologize. I gotta be the first one to admit it. I was just awful on that last show. Very rare for me. But I’m looking to bounce back and kick some ass this week for us. All right, we got to college who games we’re going to be looking at LSU, Kentucky, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Wisconsin had a little issue the other night, we’ll briefly talk about that.

I see an early number, the Wildcat seven and a half point favorite there at home. You want to start off Scott, you see any value here which way you’re looking?

Well, unfortunately, one of my beautiful picks the other day was LSU on the show again, South Carolina actually was my best bet and LSU was dominating that game, probably about 85%, the 90% of that game-winning and covering. And all of a sudden out of nowhere, the wheels fell off the bus flipped over 100 times went off the side of the road and LSU ended up losing that game. Unfortunately for me, now that now they’re coming into a place that we could literally call the Hornet’s Nest which is coming into Kentucky. Kentucky didn’t win the last game after dropping the game prior to that 16 And oh at home. damn impressive. Not such a great spread well record nine and seven overall. But this LSU team when I don’t know you take them out of the building. I was thinking that they were on that little you know client applying there.

 After we did three in row four in a row, whatever it was, and now losing the South Carolina was just an average team at best. I think. I think the line on the game. early indication is about seven, seven, and a half. I think that Kentucky is going to come out in this game and Absolutely. Boom. Give them a beating. I don’t think LSU can handle a Kentucky in this spot. I think Kentucky is absolutely the side of the game. Probably get this number down guys to keep it under seven. If you can by the number down to six and a half. I think that’s the right way to go in this game. And I think Kentucky rolls and I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t win this game by double the points spread. Take Kentucky in this game LSU terrible team on the road three and six, four and five against the spread. But you know you’re talking about Kentucky. They’re the class.

Alright, so you’re gonna lay the points. Do you think they’ll win by double jeopardy?

I gotta lay the points. I just don’t think LSU is just, you know, they’re playing just too erratic on the road. And I think that coming into a tough building show Dre you know, feels probably the same way about Kentucky being a tough place to play. So yeah, I’m just thinking one could talk you to roll and win and cover.

Dry. What’s your take on this one?

Scott literally took all the words that I was also going to say that if you can get it to six and a half that would be perfect. I love my best bet last week was Kentucky gonna cover against Alabama. And they did. They’re playing really well. They won seven of their last eight. They have yet to lose out on the season. And that’s that loss in there. Some of the last eight, eight games cuse me was against a tough Tennessee team at Tennessee. I just think that Kentucky is playing really well right now, as Scott mentioned, LSU is not good on the road, especially against the spread. So I’m also right with Scott here, if we can get six and a half, that would be a perfect number.

And you know, Coach Cal is this time of the year, he’s whispering whatever, he’s whispering in these players, because he knows that, you know, they’re looking to, you know, get into the SEC tournament, and get seedings for the big, you know, sweet, sweet 6664 or whatever you want to call it. So, plus they

have a little bit more to play for because Auburn lost and now they’re only one game back of sec.

That’s another disaster that happened on the list. Yeah. We’ll get past these disasters.

You both agree later points with the Wildcats. Alright, second game, Wisconsin, Minnesota and is there’s an old saying I went to a fight and a basketball game broke out. So the other night with, with with the with the Wisconsin game. I don’t know what’s more

exciting the last UFC main event, but

it you know, I want to try to be as partial as possible. But I would say the coach has to get the ball ahead of the year, like what that guy was possibly thinking. Obviously, he wasn’t they say he’s suspended till the tournament start or the regular season five games, I would just throw the guy out personally, but I’m not here to make decisions. But that was a crazy ending kind of I mean, play us could have got hurt. So you know, tall totally uncalled for

a lot of heated stuff going on before it all happened. And then

time out was right. been called?

Right? They were kind of there was a lot of stuff that went on that kind of shouldn’t go on. And, you know, when you’re in the Battle of the heat of the moment, and then the assistant coach stepped in and yeah, I think I actually think the coach for Wisconsin got a big break only getting fined. I don’t think he was he just got a $10,000 fine. I mean, he kind of provoked it as much, you know, obviously, draw Howard obviously, you know, raised his hands. That’s something that’s a total No, no, but you know, the coach for Wisconsin really could have been slapped on the wrist and been suspended at least the game with to himself. So he caught a big break in that. But yeah, wild type. 

You know, as I said that that kind of excitement was more exciting than some of the UFC fights that I’ve watched recently, they’ve been so bored on these Pay Per View events. So it was a little exciting, but not good for the game whatsoever to be, you know, obvious.

Let’s see if we can make some money here for the viewers. Looks like Wisconsin is a favorite here at Minnesota. Dre. What’s your take on this one?

I won’t work for you guys trap. This is our Wisconsin team that has won for the last five. They’re going into play Minnesota team that has lost five of their last seven years towards the bottom there on the opposite sides of the conference in in standings, Wisconsin. Second, they’re only half again behind producer lead. And then Minnesota is second to last. And therefore 12 in the conference, they actually have flip flop conference records. Um, I just think that this is a trap. I think this could be a letdown game for Wisconsin after what happened with Michigan. That was an emotional win. And then the fight broke out. So I think this is a really good spot for Minnesota. Plus five you get plus six. That’d be great. But I like Minnesota here at home.

So you’re like the golf is plus the point Scott What’s your take on this one? Do you think well Wisconsin comes in flat or do they? Do they play tough?

No, I think this is an uplift for Wisconsin. I actually do I think that what transpired at the end of that game could be a carryover with a player say You know what, coach, we appreciate what you did. We appreciate you know, and give them a little lift going into a game like this because Minnesota is really not a good team. You know, to begin with. Wisconsin is one of the top teams in the country. Minnesota decent at home they got an eight and five record they got an overall losing spread record.

 But Wisconsin is the talent they have played well on the road there’s seven to six and three against the spread so they can win on the road. They can go into buildings Yeah, they got to the crowds probably gonna rattle up the team because of that last episode, you know, so there’s gonna be a lot of crazy noise a lot of crazies in the crowd China, you know, get, you know, ruffle up Wisconsin’s feathers as they say a little bit, but I just think Wisconsin’s too strong of a team. I could see this being a rallying cry, as I call it, a little rally cry for Wisconsin to jump on this game and take advantage of a less ranked type of team and not as strong as Wisconsin is on both sides of the ball. 

So I think that Wisconsin will go in there Get the job done and cover this line. So I think the favorite is the play in this game. I don’t have the exact number. But I think if you can keep this game in the neighborhood of five points, somewhere in that number five or under, I think you’re in a good spot because I think Wisconsin just going in that building is at least the five to 10 point favorite, in my opinion that they’ll they can win by this game. So take Wisconsin, I would keep the line around five, four and a half to five. If you can buy that number down. If it is five and a half, like go to four and a half. I think Wisconsin get you to pay day guys. Let’s get the money.

All right. Well, it’s it will be an interesting game. I’m sure a lot of people are gonna be watching this one.

We got NBA, no fighting, no fighting.

No fighting allowed. We got NBA back on Thursday and yeah, a lot of people are definitely more into the NBA than college hoops this time of the year once obviously the tournament’s thought it shifts Boston’s at Brooklyn, an early line Celtics five and a half. Go back to you Dre. What they’d been off a few days these teams some players probably were out maybe doing some partying or just relaxing at home. Did both these teams come in flat? What do you what are you doing a game like this first game back?

Well, I love Boston here if you can get like four four and a half. I we know about they went to a nine game win streak and then lost to the pistons in just a horrible fashion 10 that they could have gone. Been on a 10 game win streak going into it but going to also break Excuse me, but um, Boston is playing great right now. I’m Brooklyn is new. They just got rid of James Harden. Ben Simmons will not be playing this game. 

I believe Kyrie Irving will not be playing this game. It is in Brooklyn. So Kevin Durant is also out. They their best player Steph Curry right now. Um, I just think that Boston with the way they’re playing with the way their defense is playing, they’re now fourth in defensive rating in the entire league. And the real difference over these last over these last 10 Games has been the passing. Boston was ranked 18th in number of passes. I saw the other day, they were ranked 18th and number of passes. And now they’re seven. So they are really moving the ball. They’re playing well together. I love Boston minus if you get for four and a half years.

You know the only thing that scares me the Celtics have been so terrible in Brooklyn. I’m looking at numbers that I had up on my screens from doing my homework on this game and they are like one and nine against the spread the last 10 games of Brooklyn. I know the last game they played in Brooklyn, I think was the first one they won in quite some time recently. But then they’re notorious not bit playing well, when it comes to going into Brooklyn. 

The only thing that scares me about games like this and you got to look at this. You’ve had over you had basically a week off most of these teams have had close to a week off so they’re all rested. You just don’t know which ones are going to be as rested as the next one when it comes into a matchup like this. And Dre said all these key players are out for Brooklyn Celtics are getting their team back on paper.

 This looks like a major trap to make this looks like the game with Boston Yeah, they’re gonna make them the favorite because no Kyrie no KD you know hard and gone no Ben Simmons yet. So Joe Johnson you know all the nachos? Go ahead. Joe Harris. Excuse me. No, Joe Harris. He’s been out for a while and now they’re going against the Celtics team that’s been coming around but I didn’t like the way the Celtics lost that game. The other day they were 1212 and a half point favorite losing outright at home after winning 910 in a row to Detroit of all people. So you know, this is not a big time play for me. But I think this game has potential of going over the number on the total I don’t have the exact total number but I can think that the with the number that comes out on this game, I could see both these teams sign a running gun to try to see who’s going to pull away from one another if either one though, but I could see this game being a high scoring game.

 Even though all these weapons are out. I think the Celtics if they’re going to blow them out, they’re going to pour a lot of points in and I think Brooklyn for somehow will find a way to stay in the game as far as the total goes so I like the over in this game. I think it’s gonna be 213 Scott 213 which is not a bad number. I mean, I would have thought it might even be a little higher.

I think that’s a really hidden number.

Yeah, I think this game has potential definitely go over that to 13 I don’t like I don’t like the side on the gay I just don’t like the way the Celtics have played in Brooklyn over the longest period of time. And I think with the rest off, both teams could be a little off a little bit, which you know, as far as you know, as far as a blowout and things like that the game could be a lot closer. So I like the points in the game for both teams to go over that to at this point to 13 of them. 

I’ll take the over guys that’s what I’m looking at. Alright, it’ll be good to get the overs been good. In there I’m looking at, you know, like some things I put up for myself five and one in the last six on the over the meetings between these two teams. So, and again, that’s what spotted in and out players like recently and stuff like that so I like I like this game to have a shot to go over definitely.

Right would be good to get the NBA back. Alright, we’re at the stage of the show where we put out our best bet for Wednesday, I’ll go back to you, Dre. It could be any of the games that we went over could be a game that you’re looking at. Who’s your best bet for Wednesday night?

My best bet is gonna be the prop. So we all know that Devin are not excuse me, Chris Paul is now out for six, eight weeks, I think it is with a with a hand injury which he’s had a history of. So DEVIN BOOKER take is over and assist. He will be handing the ball much more. I will I would take them and Booker here to I mean, he will be shouldn’t be on triple double watch every night. He’s going to handle the ball much more along on the coverages. So I expect him to dish out a lot more chefs will be in the pick a roll game with eight and instead of Paul. So I really like is over and assist.

All right, Scott, who’s your best bet for Wednesday night?

Well, I don’t really have a best bet for Wednesday night but I’m looking at something for Thursday night on the NBA. I think Golden State comes out in the first game back. I think they’re gonna be a little rested. I think they you know, obviously Steph Curry. I don’t know if he left everything on the court, they would 16 three pointers in the All Star game was amazing. This guy was shooting shots. It was turning his back before they even went in and they would go in I mean, he would shoot it turn around, start heading down the other way. And all of a sudden Yep. That’s how uncredible performance he had in the All Star game scoring 50 points. But I think Golden State’s gonna come out with a little message for these last 22 games. And the last a tough game before the break. You know, when the last second shot to Denver. I did have that game on the show. Thank God that was the one I did it. But I think Golden State the line I’m showing on this games about six to seven. I think they win convincingly on the road that first game out. So I’m going to take Golden State as my best bet on this show. The blow up Portland Portland has been is just a total let down all season long. I don’t see anything there that’s going to spark them. I think Golden State is going to be trying to chase after now that they see Chris Paul out of the lineup. And they’re going to try to take every advantage of winning as many games as they can between now and these last 23 games of the season. So why not start up the way you should, which is getting a big fat win your first game back after the all star break.

And now they’re all talking about what it’s going to take LeBron to aisle to beat become number one all time already has, he already has just I just don’t see that happening. I don’t

think it’s already happened.
