Matchup: Orlando Magic vs. Atlanta Hawks

The NBa season continues tomorrow night with an Eastern Conference matchup between the Orlando Magic and Atlanta Hawks. Orlando is 8th in the East with a 22-18 record, while Atlanta is 11th in the East at 16-23. The Magic are the visitors and enter the contest with a 9-13 record on the road. Atlanta is hosting, but they haven’t been great at home, posting a 7-11 record in State Farm Arena. Despite being 5.5 games up on the Hawks, the Magic are the underdogs in this matchup, while Atlanta will look to avoid the upset and build on their recent victory.

Both the Magic and Hawks went 4-6 in their last 10, and enter tomorrow’s matchup on a 1-game winning streak. The series between Orlando and Atlanta is currently tied 1-1, making this a tough matchup to call. Below you’ll find our Magic vs. Hawks predictions, including: stats, scores, and betting advice. We will help you navigate the odds, and I’ll provide helpful betting tips so that you walk away with a great payout for this Magic vs. Hawks matchup.

Magic vs. Hawks Game Predictions

My advice for the Magic vs. Hawks best bet is to take the Orlando Magic Moneyline (+124). The Magic are continuously under valued by the sportsbooks, while the Hawks values are often over inflated. Orlando is better than Atlanta and if you don’t believe me just look at the standings. The Magic have done most of their damage at home, the opposite to the Hawks, who are one of the five teams in the East with a losing record on their home court (7-11). Additionally, the Magic win 61.5% of the time against other Eastern Conference teams, while the Hawks win just 34.5% of their in-conference games.

Defense has been the biggest issue for the Hawks. Atlanta is giving up 123.5 points per game, and while the Magic aren’t an offensive powerhouse, Orlando’s Paolo Banchero will have free-reign at the basket. Banchero led the Magic with 35 points in Orlando’s most recent matchup against Atlanta, and tomorrow he’s poised to have another big game. Atlanta’s Trae Young is having another stellar season, averaging 27.5 points and 10.9 assists per game, but recently Young has been Atlanta’s only consistent scorer. The Magic have a solid defense, allowing 112.7 opponent points per game over their last 10, and tomorrow night Orlando will keep Trae YOung and the struggling Hawks in check.

Moneyline Pick: Orlando Magic (+124)

ATS Pick: Orlando Magic (+3.5)

O/U Pick: Under (235.5)

Score: Magic 115; Hawks 110
