Ok, let’s get to our All Star game pick prediction.
In regards to the All-Star game over/under history, the last five games have averaged A total score of 330.2.It is one of the hardest games to bed the over or the under considering the fact that we don’t know how much defense both teams are going to play. The league has tried to make the game more competitive by adding financial incentives to the winning team and we saw that that helped because of how competitive The last couple All-Star games have been.
Since we want to stay away from the over under on this game, there is one pick on the spread that has value to it. LeBron James has yet to lose an All-Star game as a captain and is poised to win again this year. LeBron‘s team consists of four out of the top five and VP candidates this year. This game would be much more even if Kevin Durant were playing but since he is not, the roster seem pretty lopsided.
While Team Durant still has elite talent, two of their starters this Season were hot topics about whether they should actually have been chosen as starters this season. While Andrew Wiggins and Trae Young both have been playing great, some beloved names like Zach Lavine or Karl Anthony Towns deserved to start above them.
Another thing working against Team Durant is that they have more injuries than Team Lebron, by losing names like Draymond Green, and Kevin Durant himself.
Finally, last year Team Lebron consisted of a big three of Lebron James, Giannis, and Steph Curry, and were unstoppable. Those three led the team to a 20 point routing and Giannis winning MVP. That team has the same big three once again this year, and added Demar Derozan and Nikola Jokic to the fold. Look for this years game to look very similar to last years.
