Tuesday’s NBA betting action at BetAnySports closes out the night with an inter-conference clash between the Washington Wizards and the Phoenix Suns in a 9 p.m. tip at Talking Stick Resort Arena.

Washington at Phoenix Game Preview

Washington continues to battle for playoff position in the Eastern Conference standings at 37-24 SU on the year after winning 18 of its last 25 games straight-up, but it has cooled off for bettors over the last few weeks with a 5-8 record against the spread in its last 13 contests. The Wizards got past Orlando on Sunday 115-114, but they could not cover BetAnySports’ closing 12-point spread as favorites at home. The total went OVER the 217-point line.

Bradley Beal led all scorers in Sunday’s win with 32 points and John Wall added 19 points and 10 assists to the winning effort. These two have led Washington all season long with Beal averaging a team-high 22.9 points and Wall posting 22.6 points and 10.8 assists a game. The Wizards are fifth in the NBA in scoring with 108.0 points per game and they are holding teams to an average of 105.6 points on defense. Beal did tweak his ankle against the Magic, but he should be ready to go on Tuesday night.

The sun may have already set on Phoenix as one of the worst teams in the Western Conference this season, but it is not going down without a fight. The Suns are just 21-42 overall, but they have managed to put together a modest three-game winning streak both straight-up and against the spread following Sunday’s stunning 109-106 victory against Boston as four-point home underdogs. They are now 5-1 ATS in their last six home games.

Rookie Tyler Ulis put up a game-winning three point shot to get past the Celtics and veteran Eric Bledsoe scored a team-high 28 points to help pace the win. Bledsoe is the Suns’ leading scorer with 21.2 PPG and he is also averaging a team-high 6.4 assists. Phoenix is 10th in the NBA in scoring this season with 107.5 PPG, but it falls all the way to 29th when it comes to points allowed (112.5).

The Suns’ current three-game run at home could pose a problem for the Wizards, but Washington does come into this game with a 6-2 record ATS in its last eight road games. The better play at BetAnySports is the OVER on the 225.5-point total line with both teams lighting up the scoreboard.
