This Tuesday night the Utah Jazz go on the road to face the Oklahoma City Thunder in a Northwest Division clash in the Western Conference. Game time from Chesapeake Energy Arena is set for 8 p.m. (ET).

Utah at Oklahoma City Game Preview

The roller-coaster ride the Jazz have been on lately has led to a four-game winning streak followed by a three-game slide. They are on their way back up top with three wins in a row both straight-up and against the spread. This past Sunday, they beat Washington on the road 102-92 as two-point underdogs on BetAnySports’ closing line. The total stayed UNDER 204 points in that game and it has stayed UNDER in three of their last four contests.

Utah (37-22 SU, 27-31-1 ATS) opened up a 13-point lead heading into the fourth quarter of Sunday’s game against the Wizards in a dominating performance that featured all five starters in double figures. It shot 45.8 percent from three-point range with Gordon Haywood and George Hill doing most of the damage. The Jazz are ranked near the bottom of the league in scoring with 100.4 points per game, but they have the top defense in the NBA with a points-allowed average of 95.6.

The Thunder (34-25) have also won their last three games (SU and ATS) with Sunday’s 118-110 win at home against New Orleans as 6.5-point favorites with BetAnySports. The total went OVER 217.5 points in that game and it has gone OVER or ended as a PUSH in five of their last six contests. Oklahoma City is 33-26 ATS this season with a 20-10 record ATS at home. The total has gone OVER in four of its last five home games.

Russell Westbrook continues to be a one-man wrecking crew with an average of 31 points and 10.3 assists per game, which are either at or near the top of the NBA. He scored 41 points against the Pelicans as part of a triple-double that included 11 rebounds and 11 assists. Center Enes Kanter added 20 points off the bench to help pace the win. Oklahoma City is averaging 106.2 PPG and it has allowed an average of 105.9 points at the other end of the court.

Both teams come into this game in excellent form, but I am leaning towards Oklahoma City getting the SU win at home while covering BetAnySports’ current five-point spread.
