At this juncture, the question probably isn’t whether the Memphis Grizzlies can win a game or two over the San Antonio Spurs, but whether they can cover the pointspread. This was once a formidable bunch, but they were much healthier at the time, and now they are sizable underdogs on their own home floor, against the Western Conference’s #2 seed. With San Antonio holding a 2-0 lead, the series shifts to the FedEx Forum in Memphis for Game 3, which begins at 9:35 PM ET on Friday. Coach Gregg Popovich was able to sit out Kawhi Leonard, Tony Parker and LaMarcus Aldridge in the fourth quarter of Game 2, as the bench took care of things. After losing by a total of 58 points in the first two games, Memphis is obviously happy to be coming home, and they have been a very good team there this season, going 26-15 straight-up. But will that be much of a help against this San Antonio squad?
