Yanks look to end skid

The Yankees are now 62-28 on the season. They aren’t playing very well right now as they are 4-6 in their last ten and are coming off of two straight losses. This is actually their worst stretch of the season but it comes at a decent time as the All-Star break is approaching.

The Red Sox are coming off of a win over the Yankees in extras. They are now 48-43 on the season and rank fourth in the AL East. They are 1.5 games back of the Rays in the division and are tied with the Blue Jays in the division while the Orioles are only 2.5 games back.

This is a great pitching matchup as we will be seeing Chris Sale and Gerritt Cole on the mound. Sale is making his second start this season after going 5 innings and giving up no runs in his season debut. Cole will has been great this season with a 3.05 ERA and an 8-2 record. I think this total is way too high. I also think the Red Sox keep this close. We told you they would win last night and I think they could again.
