Yankees look to dominate struggling Padres
The Yankees are sitting 3rd in the AL East with the 4th best record in the AL. They have been in good form recently winning 7 of their last 10. They come in as underdogs against an abysmal Padres team and look to sweep the series to catch up to the top dogs in their division.
The Padres look terrible this season a bottom 5 record in the NL and it doesn’t look to be changing soon as they’ve only won 3 of their last 10. Musgrove pitching gives them a good chance against this better Yankees team but it will take a lot more than that to beat New York at home.
