Yankees Fall Behind In Highly Competitive AL East
The New York Yankees are the next team to face the MLB leading Atlanta Braves. The Yankees remain above .500, but just barely. At 60-58, New York is last in the AL East and 9th in the American League. They won just 4 of their last 10, and are coming off back-to-back losses against the Miami Marlins. Injuries continue to hurt the Yankees, creating chaos for the team as they struggle to find any semblance of consistency, scoring: 1, 7, 2, 8, 1, and 7 in their last 6 games respectively, making it difficult to predict what the New York will do next.
The Atlanta Braves are 75-41, and unlike the Yankees, the Braves have been a sure thing all year. Atlanta hasn’t faced the Yankees since 2021, but after winning their last 3 games, enter Monday’s matchup with a lot more momentum than New York. The Braves went 6-4 in their last 10, averaging an incredible 7.7 runs, 12.2 hits, and 1.9 home runs per game. In fact, the Braves lead the MLB with 225 total home runs, 39 more than the next best team, and will tee off on a Yankees side who gave up 1.3 home runs per game in their last 10. Don’t overthink this one, go with the MLB’s best on Monday.
So for our Yankees vs. Braves expert pick, take the Atlanta Braves Moneyline on Monday.
