Yanks visit Cards
The Yankees are coming off of a huge win as Domingo German threw the 24th perfect game in MLB history. This moved them to 44-36 on the season which is still good for third place in the AL East. They are just 5-5 in their last ten games.
The Cardinals are having a horrible season. They came into it with World Series aspirations but have started the season 33-46. Their division is not good so they still have an outside chance at making a second half comeback here.
I like the over in this one. The two pitchers on the mound will not be good here. Luis Severino is on the mound for the Yankees and he has a 1-2 record with a 5.25 ERA on the season. He is facing Matthew Liberatore who also has a 1-2 record and a worse ERA of 5.60. These two pitchers should be serving up pitches on a platter for these lineups.
