Braves Show they can Repeat 

MLB opening day, one of the most exciting times of the year, and of course, we get to start it off with the reigning champions going up against the Cincinnati Reds. 

The offseason hasn’t been the best for the Reds. They lost some massive firepower and Nick Castellanos and Jesse Winker, But they still do have Joey Votto and Jonathan India, two key players that could really have breakout seasons and lead this team. The thing with the Reds is that in losing those two players stated previously, they lost a lot of their depth, but they are pretty top heavy. One Player to keep your eye on for the Reds this season is going to be Tyler Stephenson out of Kennesaw Mountain High School, who has shown flashes in his major league career and will get more playing time this season. 

The reigning champion Atlanta Braves are a completely different story. Their roster is stacked and they were able to add Matt Olson and Marcell Ozuna in the offseason, making this group even scarier. On the other side, the Atlanta lineup is absolutely stacked. They’re going to be without star Ronald Ocuna Jr. for a little, but once he returns, nobody can say that this team isn’t the title favorites. 

Expect the Braves to dominate in this game and prove to us all that this offseason, all they’ve had on their minds has been repeating.
