But this just seems like the year for them, the year that they finally break their curse and end their drought. 

Naturally, both Shohei and Mike Trout are both balling out once again, as Shohei has a 2.78 ERA, and Trout has a .310 batting average once again. The Angels are first in the American League West Division and currently rank 6th in team batting average at .246, first in runs scored on the season at 186, first in team hits on the season at 311, sixth in on base percentage at .321, third in slugging percentage at .418, and second in home runs at 49. Needless to say, this team is balling out at the moment and hopefully can continue it, so we finally can see Mike Trout and Shohei in the playoffs together.

The Texas Rangers, on the other hand, fellow division rivals to the Los Angeles Angels, are not as hot at the moment. In all those statistical categories stated up ahead for the Angels, the Rangers rank bottom 10 in every single one of them, besides home runs, in which they ranked 13th. A huge part due to that has been Corey Seager for them who has 7 HRs himself, and has batted in 17 RBIs. This game is a straightforward one, with Shohei on the mound, he will get it done. He is simply better than his opposition in this game in Dane Dunning of the Rangers who, on the season, has a 4.06 ERA with a record of 1-2.
