Will blowouts continue in NL Central matchup

The Cubs are now 26-43 on the season. They have been playing horrible baseball as of late but are looking to turn it around as they won their last game over the Pirates. They’re still 2-8 in their last 10 games and fourth in the division. 

The Pirates are third in the division and have a record of 28-39. As we saw a couple weeks ago we think the Pirates have been over performing and regression was coming and I think we will be seeing it over the next month or so. 

The first three games of this series have been blowouts. The Pirates beat the Cubs 12-1 and 7-1 in the first two games of the series and in the third game the Cubs are currently up 7-1. I think the over is the obvious play here. There are two pitchers on the mound that haven’t been great this season. Jose Quintana is on the mound for the Pirates and although he has a decent year right on the season he has not been good as of late. in his last six starts he is 0-4 with a 5.67 ERA. Jordan Steele is 2-5 on the season for the Cubs. One of these offenses will blow up as the over is 3-0 in this series.
