Who will win MVP?

I am really going to be focusing on the AL here. I think the NL MVP favorite is the favorite for a reason. Juan Soto had a ridiculous second half last year and is clearly a top-three player in the league. In my opinion, he is pushing Mike Trout for the best player in baseball title. So I would take Soto at +240 in the NL.

When looking at the AL the odds are much more evenly spread out. Ohtani, Trout, and Vlad are all anywhere from +400 to +450. After that Aaron Judge and Wander Franco lead a group of seven players that range from +1800 to +2200. I think Ohtani is too injury-prone to warrant a bet here but I do like Vlad. He came in second to Ohtani last year slashing .311/.401/.1002. Vlad is only 23 years old and should get even better this year.

If you want a bit of a long shot I really like Wander Franco at +1800. Franco is one of the most exciting young players in baseball. He tied Frank Robinson’s record of 43 straight games reaching base by a player aged 20 or less. He is an on-base machine and should get even better this year. Plus, he is on one of the best teams in baseball in the Tampa Bay Rays who finished first in the AL East last year.

So for our MLB MVP Future picks take Soto in the NL at +240 and in the AL take Vladamir Guerrero Jr. and Wander Franco at +450 and +1800.
