We have been saying all season that the Marlins were a better team and the record and The Catered and they showed it. They had won five straight games and six of their last seven. They are now 27-30 on the season and third in the NL East.

The Phillies had previously won nine straight before finally dropping a game to the Dbacks. They are playing great baseball right now.

How are the Marlins such big underdogs in this game. They have the NL Cy Young favorite in Sandy Alcantara on the mound. He has been absolutely incredible this season with a 6-2 record and a 1.61 ERA. He is coming off of a start where he threw nine shutout innings and received a no decision. I just can’t pass up this value.
