White Sox Look to Take Down Divisional Leaders

The Chicago White Sox are 41-57 on the year, winning just under 42% of their games. They take on the 50-48 Minnesota Twins, who are leading the division, 9.0 games up on Chicago. The White Sox and Twins have split the season series thus far, going 3-3 against each other through the first two series. In their third series, the Twins are favored, but the White Sox have played them well. The Twins versus the White Sox O/U record is 2-3-1, and against the spread, the White Sox and Twins are neck-and-neck. 

Despite coming in as the underdogs, priced at +128, I like the White Sox in this one. Numbers-wise, the Twins are the superior team, but Chicago is coming off a big win over the New York Mets, and will carry that momentum over into their matchup against Minnesota. The Twins are playing with a lot of pressure on their shoulders as the division leaders, and I think they’ll crack under that weight against AL Central rivals.
