As we’ve stated many times before in our previous articles, it’s hard to grasp the idea of the Boston Red Sox being such a bad team. But the matter of the fact is that they just are. Not much has improved for this team either, as they have only one half of their last ten games, but, if you must find something to look on the bright side, they are entering off a win. And I’m actually going to go somewhere new with this article, as the Boston Red Sox will actually manage to get another win back to back. 

The simple reason for why this will happen is going to be because of who the Red Sox are putting out on the mound. They will have Michael Wacha pitching for them, and all he’s done this season has been win. He’s been one of the few bright spots for this team as he owns a three win and zero loss record with an ERA of 1.38 with 19 strikeouts. He will have his work cut out for him though, as he is going up against the San Diego Padres lineup that ranks 14th in the MLB in hits with 293 and 14th in the MLB in home runs with 38. Despite those decent numbers, they aren’t good enough to scare away a pitcher who has the second best ERA in the league, but has only pitched 26.0 innings. Expect his number of innings pitched to go up, as he will definitely go deep in this game against a good match up.
