Twins one Trouble
The Minnesota twins have 22 games left in their schedule for this season and each and every one of them counts. This was a team that led their division for the vast majority of the season but we’re overtaken by the Cleveland guardians about a month ago and haven’t been able to get the lead back. When you look at the wildcard spot this team is nine games out so they can’t realistically get that but they are 4.5 games back from their division lead as previously stated. But that doesn’t tell the whole story as although they’re only 4.5 games back they were just 2.0 games back a couple games ago before they dropped three straight games and the guardians won two in a row. The twins have to take advantage of this matchup against the poor Royals as they have a five game series against the Guardians next. The twins were able to win the first game of the series 6–3, which helps them, but the Guardians have now won 6 games in a row and are pulling away. This feel like a let down ge from a team giving up.
