Twins look for series sweep
The Twins are the first place team in the AL Central but they haven’t been great this season their division has just been horrible. They are 42-42 on the season and they have a 1.5 game lead in the division. They have won two straight over the Orioles though.
The Orioles are having a great season. They are 48-33 on the season. This would be good enough to lead most divisions in baseball but they are in second in the AL East behind the Braves. They have slowed down lately winning just four of their last ten games.
Take the Twins to finish off the sweep here. The Twins seem to have found something here and will have the better pitcher in Sonny Gray here. Gray has been sensational this season with a 4-2 record and a 2.67 ERA. He has not given up more than three runs in a start all season. He will be facing Cole Irvin who has a 1-3 record and a horrible 7.18 ERA on the season. The Twins should wreak havoc in this one.
