Twins host MLB’s elite
The Twins and the Dodgers play in Minnesota in a star-studded matchup including Correa and Betts.
The Twins have two of the MLB’s brightest stars. Byron Buxton signed a seven-year $100 million extension. This is a great deal for the Twins as I think Buxton is worth much more than that. He has shown that by leading the MLB in home runs through these first couple of days. He has already hit three home runs in three games. They also have Carlos Correa anchoring the infield.
The Dodgers have championship aspirations this season. They have a day off before this game and are coming off their first loss of the season as they dropped a game 9-4 game to the Rockies.
Chris Archer will be pitching in this game for the Twins. Although he is past his prime he still has something left in the tank. The Dodgers will be putting Andrew Heaney out there. Heaney was up and down last season putting up a record of 8-9. The Twins put up 10 runs in their last game while the Dodgers have yet to explode putting up three, four, and five runs in each game. I think they are due here.
So for our Dodgers vs. Twins expert play take the over nine runs.
