Twins Hang-on To a Thin Lead 

The Minnesota Twins are the leaders of the AL Central, but at 60-57, their margin for error becomes increasingly low. The Twins are up 3.5 games in arguably the weakest division in baseball, but if they hold on, Minnesota will see the postseason for the first time since 2020. The Twins have played well enough so far, but they struggle on the road, winning just 45% of their away games, and 51.7% of their matchups with the NL. 

The Philadelphia Phillies came so close to winning their third World Series last year, but fell just short. The Phillies caught fire at the right time to make a deep run into the postseason, and after winning 7 of their last 10 games, it seems Philly is heating up once again. They are 3rd in the National League with a 63-52 record, and look primed to make their 2nd consecutive postseason appearance. Philly is 24-14 (63.2%) against the AL, 32-22 (59.3%) at home, and will win the series opener against Minnesota. .
