Twins Get Much Needed Win

The twins aren’t exactly in a position that they are comfortable with. Yes, they are currently still in first place in the American League Central Division, but the Cleveland Guardians in Chicago White Sox are quickly closing in. Both Cleveland and Chicago were expected to finish higher than Minnesota, according to sports books before the season, but to this point, it has been the twins who have come out on top. But the last ten games heading into All Star break have not been the best for Minnesota, as they have won only three of them, and the Guardians and white socks have each won at least 6. Many are starting to believe that this is the downfall of the twins, but that Downfall won’t continue tonight as the twins behind some good pitching from pitcher Sonny Gray, who has an ERA of 3.71, will manage to defeat the Detroit Tigers, who haven’t had a good season and only have a record of 38 wins and 56 losses.
