The Padres didn’t have the first half they hoped for but need a big second half. They sit down at 4th in the division with a 45-50 record. They have won 6 of their last 10 but need a big winning streak to catch the rest of the NL West. Going on the road will be a struggle as they are 20-27 away on the season.

The Blue Jays have been hot recently and are currently sitting at 3rd in the AL East with a 53-42 record. They have won 8 of their last 10 and will need to continue that if they want to catch the Orioles and Rays atop the AL West.
