Reds and Tigers battle

The Reds have slightly fallen down the standings but are still in contention. They sit 3rd in the division with a 74-71 record on the year. Only 1.5 games behind the last wildcard spot with a solid last month the Reds could sneak into the postseason. Splitting their last 10 they are going to need more in the win column.

The Tigers are not having a great season and are almost out of the postseason. They sit 3rd in their division with a 68-77 record on the season. They have been in good form recently winning 7 of their last 10. They are eliminated from the playoffs and are just looking for momentum into next season.

Take the over in this game. Neither of these pitchers have been particularly good this season and I expect them to smash this total. Both offenses especially the Reds are more than capable of this.
