The Texas Rangers Remain The Top Offense In The MLB
The Miami Marlins are 58-51 on the season. They went 5-5 in their last 10, averaging 4.0 runs per game and 9.2 hits. They have yet to face the Rangers this season, but went 1-2 against Texas last year. Miami is 3rd in the NL East and 6th in the National League, but have a 34.2% chance to beat Texas on Friday.
The Texas Rangers are 62-46. They are leading the AL West and are 3rd in the American League, making them one of the favorites to win the AL at +400. The Rangers have been phenomenal at the plate, leading the MLB in hits with 1,025, runs with 622, RBIs with 596, a batting average at .273, and an On-Base Percentage of .342. In their last 10 the Rangers won just 4 games, but averaged 5.3 runs.
I like the Rangers in this one. They are at their best when playing at home, winning 64.3% of their games in Arlington. Texas is coming off an 11-1 victory over the White Sox, and while the Marlins should prove to be better competition, the Rangers are just too good at the plate.
So for our Marlins vs. Rangers expert pick, go with the Texas Rangers Moneyline on Friday.
